My siste runs a non-profit called Thanda that sells African beaded jewelry made my women in income generation projects in South Africa, in order to fund the Thanda After School program (TASP). TASP provides empowerment and learning for the students to help them help themselves, and create a better life.
This coming May 20th, Thanda, with Orphans Against AIDS, will be hosting a fundraiser in New York City. I hope that anyone and everyone will be interested and come. Tickets range from $25 – $275. Just $25 can provide meals for 90 children. I hope you will come.
